Introduced in 1987, Italy’s dot IT country-code extension is quite popular both locally and in the English-speaking world. The reason is that the domain is a pronoun, which can be used for constructing imaginative and catchy domain names – write.it, youcanmake.it and so on. This is a way to construct an easy-to-memorize domain name, so that it will be easier for your visitors to go back to your website or to give it with coworkers and pals. The domain extension can also be used for a website, which is connected to the information sector in view of the fact that IT is an abbreviation, which is recognized around the world.

Taking into account that .IT domains are not registered directly by IT-NIC, the Registry that administrates this top-level extension, such a domain can be reserved through a 3rd-party domain service provider, such as ours.
