The JailHost option cannot be a substitute for carrying out frequent script updates or using complex passwords, but it will minimize the damage to your sites significantly, so you'll need to fix only one website rather than all of them.

JailHost in Shared Hosting

If you host your Internet sites inside a shared hosting account from our firm, you can protect them using the JailHost feature with just a few mouse clicks in your Hepsia Control Panel. The option is provided with all plans and can be activated for every folder as the domains and subdomains in Hepsia have separate folders, so that files for various Internet sites do not get mixed up as it quite often happens with other Control Panels. We haven't activated JailHost by default because you could use scripts which require access to folders outside the main site folder and this option could interfere with their correct functioning, but securing all of the other folders is very easy. In case a secured Internet site gets hacked for whatever reason, we will be able to recover it quickly since we will have multiple daily backup copies of your entire account and you will even be able to search the available backups in Hepsia.

JailHost in Semi-dedicated Hosting

If you have a semi-dedicated hosting account, you will be able to activate JailHost with a couple of clicks in your Hepsia Control Panel as we have included this option in all semi-dedicated plans. It is not activated by default as you may use an application that requires access to other folders inside the account and JailHost might cause problems, yet you can easily secure all other websites by separating them from each other. This is simple and easy because in Hepsia all domains and subdomains have separate folders. In contrast, numerous other Control Panels keep the content of multiple websites in subfolders under a primary domain, so one single hacked Internet site there means that all of them will be hacked. With Hepsia, only one Internet site can get damaged and even in such a circumstance, we can quickly recover it using the multiple daily backups that we will keep, meaning that you can go ahead and update it after that in order to protect it from future attacks.
